Your privacy is important to us. Saajha is committed to respect your privacy while using our platforms like www.saajhatraining.com, Saajha Connect, Saajha WhatsApp Bot and IVRs helpline hereinafter referred as ‘platforms’. This Policy defines the requirements to ensure compliance with the applicable data privacy laws and regulations applicable to Saajha’s collection, use, and transmission of personal data and sensitive personal data for information collected by us on our platforms.

Scope

This Policy applies to all Saajha employees, contractors, vendors, interns, associates, customers and business partners who receive personal information from Saajha, who have access to personal information collected or processed by Saajha, or who provide information to Saajha, regardless of geographic location. All employees, consultants and partners of Saajha are expected to support the privacy policy and principles when they collect and / or handle personal information, or are involved in the process of maintaining or disposing of personal information. This policy provides the information to successfully meet the organization’s commitment towards data privacy. All partner firms and any Third-Party working with or for Saajha, and who have or may have access to personal information, will be expected to have read, understand and comply with this policy. No Third Party may access personal information held by the organization without having first entered into a confidentiality agreement.

Sensitive personal data or sensitive personal identifying information (SPII) or special categories of personal data is defined as information that if lost, compromised, or disclosed could potentially harm, cause inconvenience, embarrassment, or unfairness to an individual. e.g., Racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, religious or philosophical beliefs, trade-union membership, data concerning health or sex life, and data relating to offenses, or criminal convictions etc.

Processing

Consent

Any freely given specific and informed indication of his/her wishes by which the data subject signifies agreement to personal data or sensitive personal data relating to him being processed.

Data Subject

Data subject is an individual to whom the data belongs. In case of a minor/ individual with mental disabilities, the data subject would be the legal representative (parent/ guardian). For the purpose of clarity, “data subject” means Saajha employees, vendor personnel, prospective candidates, customer personnel and visitors.

Data Controller

Data controller means a person or organization who (either alone, or jointly, or in common) determines the purposes for which and the manner in which any personal data are, or are to be, processed.

Data Processor

A data processor is a person or organization (other than an employee of the data controller) who processes the data on behalf of the data controller.

Third Party

Third party, in relation to personal data, means any person other than the data subject, the data controller, or any data processor or other person authorized to process data for the data controller.

The information we collect

We do not collect personal data about you unless you voluntarily fill out your information through specific provided forms to receive information from us or contact you. The information that you are required to fill in the forms are your identification and contact details (e.g. First Name, Last Name, Email, Location, phone number etc.). We also collect voice records and details of the calls only from the services that we are providing through our platforms. This is collected only if you agree to use our platform. You may opt-out whenever you wish to do so. In general, you may browse Saajha’s website without providing any personal data about yourself. On the platforms, we do not collect any of your sensitive personal information.

How we normally use information about you

We collect information to provide better assistance to people — from figuring out basic essentials like which language you prefer to speak in, to more complex issues like what improvement you aspire for in schools which will be most beneficial for students, identify best practices across various schools for their scalability, or how you would like to work with us on reforming schools. The information Saajha collects, and how that information is used, depends on how you use our services. When you call us or use our training platform, we also collect information that we store with your Account, which we treat as personal data. Legal basis of processing Consent:

Where required under applicable local law, we may process your personal data under consent. You have the right to withdraw such consent at any time. Our platforms may contain references or names of other service providers including social media sites, whose information practices may be different from ours. We do not endorse or make any representations about third-party features.
